So drove the Z4M to work Saturday in the rain, then from Macclesfield to Near Lincoln to visit my Mum and Dad.
As I left their house there is a small ramp/kerb as the front wheels went over the drop there was a knocking noise this repeated itself randomly it sounded like it was a hard solid object knocking on a hard plastic trim the contents of the door pocket made a lighter sound, when I got home to Cleethorpes I drove around the block trying different things to try and hear it find it.
If the car had been front wheel drive it could have been a CV joint, top suspension bearing made the same noise in my Saab a few years ago I could see £££££££ falling from my bank account,
It turned out to be a slightly loose drivers side strut brace loose at the bulkhead end.
All sorted now
