Scottish Championship Racing returns to Knockhill on Sunday 14th August. A full race programme is in store featuring action from Formula Ford, Mini, Legends, Classics, Fiestas and Sports & Saloons. Action starts around 9am with racing from 11.30am.

Scottish Championship Car Racing organised by the SMRC, looks forward to another action packed year with a superb range of racing classes, a super-slick racing format with and around 18 races to entertain you during an action-packed afternoon. Action will come from Scottish Formula Ford, Legends, Mini Copper, Sports & Saloon and Classic Sports & Saloon Championships.

I'm heading along to this, so if anyone else fancies it then pop along and say hello. If it's dry I'm be hooning in the Z4, but if it's wet then I'll bring my big, white campervan complete with tea/coffee facilites :D
 
How's the parking? Last time I was at Knockhill for a days racing in Formula ford and MGFs it was murder.
I may tootle up from dumbarton if Mrs Sham is busy :thumbsup:
 
Parking usually extremely quiet for the SMRC events - don't tend to be busy, nothing like the BTCC weekends.
 
Good days racing, A11y took a shed load of pics with his super duper camera so I wont load any pics will let A11y post his up, though that will prob take a while with his worse than crap internt speed :rofl:

We only got wet once, I got ripped off on a bottle o water £1.80, seriously £1.80 for a small bottle o water, he should have been wearing a mask :x
we gate crashed a Peter Vardy private area but never went on the bouncy castle, Some Random guy gave us a very cheerful hello dunno who he was, probably Peter Vardy :rofl:

Any hoo good day out and some nice cars both on and off the track.

I've got a shitload (I love using that as a size/measurement!) of photos to sort through but once done will wind up the hamsters and get some of them uploaded and posted. Not tonight though as I'm already being yelled at for spending time on the PC lol.

I also took some footage on my drive up using a £7.45 micro dv camera and will post that up too: very impressed with picture quality, sound only "OK" but can't expect miracles for that price.
 
Better late than never... Here's some of the photos I took at this event. My favourite racing was the historic stuff: old Porsche's in particular just do it for me especially on a track :)
