Looking extremely likely that I'll be heading up to this on Saturday :driving:

Really looking forward to properly opening the taps and finding out just how rubbish the grip is on my winter rubber!!!! :evil:

Anyone else intending on heading to this?
 
It's on from 11am till 3pm and is £100 if you pre book or £110 if you turn up on the day.

If you've got a passenger it's usually a fiver for them to go out too. If you've got a helmet take it'll be another fiver to hire one! :thumbsup:

If your at a lose end you should come up! It's free to spectate and I'm happy to take you out with me for some laps! :driving:

OOOOOhhhh may just take you up on that offer, Would love to take mine round but £100 bit to steep for me at the moment, Just spent this years allowance on new lights :lol:
 
Eeek. £100 is a tad steep what with our Feb meet and the Moffat meet in March.

Shame, would've been a blast :)

The first hot marques track night this year is on May 3rd and is £60 for 2 hours.

Did loads of track days in my last car and they are fantastic fun. Not had the Z out yet so I'm sure I'll come away and imediately start looking for better brakes! :lol:
 
Only just seen this, pity :(

Are KH trackdays better than they used to be? I got the feeling from PH over recent years that you get a lot of neds out on track on the open track days. Stories I read gave me the distinct impression it's the last place you'd want to take a car you cared for and didn't want entered into a destruction derby...
 
General track days and hot hatch days are a bit of ate free for all but this was an open track event. These are essentially the same as th hot Marques nights.

You didn't miss anything, I got 3 slow laps then the fog decended and the day was done! :(

On the 11th there were a couple of 911's a couple of GTR's a DB9 and the rest of the field was made up of lightweight stuff, exiges etc I was the only one there in a BMW.

Generally these drivers are a bit more careful so it's a pretty comfortable place to be.
