Knock knock!!

Hi Folks.
Last week I fitted my shiny new 19" LM reps. Everything went on as expected and seemed fine for the first few miles.
I started to hear a slight knock/cracking from my passengers side strut top area. After driving the car for a week both sides are now affected. It's when turning to hard lock or driving over uneven surfaces. Could the change in rim width and offset upset something , or is more likely that general wear and tear has chosen to rear its head after I've unloaded my disposable on the bling rather than the bits that hold it al together :( ? Does the strut top have a bush or similar that can cause this noise? Any advice and opinion warmly received.

Cheers Hamalmac

did your new wheels need spigot rings? that can cause knocking if they havent got them on when needed

Hi.
No spigot rings needed with these wheels. I'll jack the car up and check for any movement.
I will also check strut brace for play. Many thanks Guys.

Cheers Hamalmac.

Thanks Guys
Checked the strut brace this morning and both sides were bellow the torque setting. Many thanks. :)
