I saw his comment as a joke, remind me of the other thread about how to keep the cat off my roof and it ended up getting quite heated after a bit of humor.

Thats must be the twin to my friends cat, her's sleeps in the steps like that, a couple of times she has gone downstairs in the middle of the night to be startled by a screech!!
