I'm still awaiting contact from someone who has expressed interest recently. I have asked them to call me to discuss further but nothing has come of it yet :?
 
Damm shame you have to sell it but hang in there and the right buyer will come along. :thumbsup:

Also keep an open mind as a sale can come from the least expected of queries. When I was selling my Lotus a guy from Germany said he would come over and buy it sight unseen for cash. 2 months later he did just that.
 
When I sold my racing puma it took 3 months. Patience is a virtue with anything a bit different.

I had one guy that wanted to look at it, bang in the middle of my busy Saturday so reshuffled a few things for him. When he arrived he parked at the top of the drive meaning no test drive was going to happen, brought his wife and 4 yr old kid, had a good inspection, started it up, revved it, kid sat on my bright blue Alcantara seats with dirty trainers on etc...

When I had to push him to open negotiations, he said he can't afford one for 6 months, just wanted to see on in the flesh and he had defo made his mind up he wants one now! w***er :thumbsdown:
 
Deposit taken today from a guy who called me last night. Came over and as soon as he seen it he knew my car had been well looked after and a stunning example.

I won't celebrate until I have the money in my bank account though!
 
I was trying to sell a Z3M some years back and one of the people who stopped by couldn't even drive a car with a manual transmission! He also mentioned that he was thinking of sharing the car with his teen aged son. What a recipe for disaster that would have been.
 
Keith; best of luck. Sounds like you have a genuine buyer. Those people in Glasgow though...have seen Coupe`s with oil leaks...really?? I viewed many befor buying mine. But can honestly say- I have never seen a Z4 with an oil leak!
 
I have someone thinking about it over the weekend who said he would call me early next week but I also received a phonecall from a guy in Warwick today who seemed genuinely interested who wants to come and view it next weekend if it doesnt sell before then.. Fingers crossed :)

Oh sorry Dean, I don't know what they viewed with bald tyres and an oil leak. I was selling my 1 series.

I had an awkward moment telling the couple from Glasgow that someone had beat them to my car. They told me they were gutted to say the least. They found another 1 this morning and text me to tell me. I think they were trying to make me jealous. Haha! The situation was like telling a lass you have been seeing Sorry, but I found someone serious who has committed to me haha

Soundng positive JDM! Extremely positive. You might get a bit of luck like me, first viewer, first buyer.
 
I've only got mine advertised on here and have sadly had nothing but timewasters so far. :roll:
