Kidney Grilles

[I-Need-Help]

Hey everyone, complete novice here trying to find the best accessories for a gift.

Has anyone had any luck buying Matte Black kidney grilles for their Z4? There's quite a few options on eBay, but all seem to be coming Internationally mostly from China. Just wondered if anyone has been able to source them from the UK?

Also, if there are any other interior/exterior parts that you have upgraded to Matte Black alternatives, I'd love to see how they turned out.

I am assuming E85 in this case?

Bought a set from these guys for my E86. Cannot tell the difference in quality or fit between them and the originals. Superb

Take them out and spray them. I did just the chrome surrounds by carefully separating them from the grille. Cost me £3 for a Matt Black spray can. All done in just over an hour and still the original grilles.

If you really rub the chrome surrounds down with fine wet and dry till they don't shine anymore you have a good key for the spray paint to stick to. I was going to buy some new grilles but decided to have a go and do it myself. Really pleased with the results. The Zunsport lower grille matches nicely. Have a go. If it goes tits up then buy some new grilles
