Yeah they are the 'dogs' bollox Dave. Sooo much better than the dull OE Style. I get lots of positive comments on mine (and my spinning wheel centre caps).

Each to their own but I think they look crap

I'm still considering what to do with my new bumper. I currently have the black with chrome, which are damaged and I have been, graciously, given a pair that are the silver (light grey) with chrome, but was originally thinking of going all black. So I got these three photos to see what I'd prefer....

IMHO the colour of the grills depends on the colour of the car except the chrome and black which shouldn't belong anywhere Some colours you could go either way but on your space grey I think black on black looks better. Just my opinion of course!

Each to their own but I think they look crap, don’t even think they look great on the G29 but on the newer car it works better. The tradition grill is the hallmark of a BMW, what makes it instantly recognisable as one, yet these grills takes all of that away. Makes the car look like a cheap Chinese knock off. Entirely my humble opinion mind. :wink:

The poster didn’t make any personal criticism of you.

If you put your mods up for review then you must accept that not all folks will be glowing in their critique..

I think I'd agree, but there are so many things to consider, especially the car colour.
On mine (VO) I find the chrome outer picks up well from the LCI side indicators and also the highlights around the headlights. (Gratuitous photo added on the pretence of illustrating my point :roll: )
But if, for example, you took a lighter-coloured car and changed the side indicators to black, then possibly an all black grille would look good.
