Keyfob Range? 2 SOLUTIONS

You can extend even further with a container of water.
WARNING - you will look even sillier :D

Good explanation here:

So it is now a scientifically proven fact that one must buy a sixpack of beer from grocery, each time, to find the car. The theory is too complex to explain but has to do with oscillating water molecules.

I could be on the wrong floor of a parking structure and make my horn go off.
Don't know the rules in the US but there are definitely many, many laws against doing that in the UK.

UPDATE:

Today, by chance, I was holding my keyfob in both hands. One hand was on the plastic part with a finger pushing the button. The other hand was holding the metal part of the key. Just for yucks, I was curious if this would also increase the range. Well... whaddya know? YES, it does increase the range substantially!

Yes, I have been putting the key to my forehead when needed and, yes, I look silly. But, now that this 2nd technique appears to work, I'll go back to looking my normal silly rather than insane silly. haha

Give it a try and let me know if that works for you, too.
