Keyfob dead?

Hi guys

I left my car key in my bag lastnight for a couple of hours whilst running around in the p*ssing rain at training. Not my finest moment to say the least! When I took the key out, it wasn't soaked by any means, just a bit damp from being in a bag (that wasn't completely waterproof :headbang: )

Afterwards, the remote unlock, boot, etc buttons wouldn't work and even after drying out as soon as I got home, it hasn't worked tonight.

Whats the consensus? Dead and need new key? or a matter of doing a long drive to recharge?

Any help is appreciated

Could be a bit of both.

If it has got wet then water could have seeped in. stick it on a radiator for an hour or so. then try again. virtually all electronics will work after geting wet as long as it has been fully dried.

I'd be surprised if it had become discharged through accidental use in your bag as you need a bit of force to press the button.
