My brother has a 2004 3 series and has to use 2 keys to start the car?
The key with the remote will open the car but not start and he has to use the key with no remote and just the key to start the car! Sounds a bit wrong to me!
Anyone any ideas? I have tried the reprogramming of the key by putting in ignition and holding the unlock button while pressing the lock button 3 times but still no change? If I start the car with the single key then use the key fob one it will start but not after the car has been locked.
Any help here much appreciated!
