Hello all,
I am posting this one on behalf of a friend.
His key stopped locking and unlocking the doors.
He purchased a new key from BMW but they were unable to pair the new key.
We were able to pair his key to my car but not able to pair my key to his car. So his key works, the fault lies in the car.
The GM5 module still functions. Central locking works from the button in the car and with the key in the door.
I know these GM5 modules commonly suffer faults, what has likely failed?
Does anyone know where the antenna for the locking lives? I would like to check it's connection to the module.
