My 2007 z4 key remote features never work when I am home and only works about half the time in other locations. I assume radio interference. Has anyone else had this issue. I have heard different stories from dealers. Some say I can get it reprogrammed and that may fix it. Some say the battery is dead. I am within the warranty. Some say its covered to be fixed, some say its not. Has anyone else had this happen.

One of my keys wasn't working, it would unlock but not lock, replaced under warranty no questions asked, I think it was something to do with it not holding charge and if it's low on locking it won't lock - just incase you can't unlock next time
I always have trouble at our Bristol Office whenever I go there I can never lock the car or open the boot. I have to try numerous times and eventually it works, but not every time.
There must be some interference as I is fine elsewhere.
I'd check that first otherwise the battery is your best bet
