Key Problem/new key

I picked up a new key today from the stealers and programmed it. It works with all functions except for unlocking either of the doors (trunk works) with the remote (locking does work).

You can hear it wanting to but it doesn't. Manually unlocking works just fine and have been doing such with the old key since the battery died in it.

Back last winter I had the cable replaced on the drivers side but not passenger, would this be an issue with the module or something else mechanical?

There may be a problem with one of the relays of the general module (GM5). Lots of posts on here about it, including a UK service that replaces them. There must be something similar in the US but I'm unaware of whom or where.

Thanks. That was the next thing I was going to check. I just didn't know since I see the lock nobs trying to move when I hit the unlock button if it would be the relays or something more mechanical.

Seems very unlikely to be the drivers in the doors, both going at the same time? And one side having work done! The way I imagine it, no idea how realistic this is, is the contacts in the relay get corroded and/or carbonized, greatly reducing the current going through. Thus the lock drivers have enough juice to make noise and wiggle, but not enough oomph to actually work.
