I have a 2003 Z4 E85 3.0.
Attach are pics of the one key I have. I believe the battery is dyeing. How do I open to replace battery?View attachment 2View attachment 2

That's not an original key so you're on your own!

OTOH, it should mean it comes apart unlike the originals which are sealed.

Not an E85 key as said. Send it to th Master locksmith.

My previous E86 only came with one key so I got a spare like that one cut and coded. It didn't have a rechargeable battery like the OE ones do, but it was easy to remove the back to replace the battery.
