I have a 2006 Z4M and neither of the fobs will now activate or deactivate the central locking/alarm, I have had a keyman check it out and his diagnosis identifies the receiver in the interior rear view mirror as being the problem, the key batteries are good apparently. I want to avoid going to my local BMW if necessary, is it possible to repair or replace the part or get a replacement mirror from a parts outfit? Any advice welcome.
