key battery dead, how to charge/change?

Unused key may well loose its charge over time, it can be charged on a toothbrush charger as said earlier. It may have lost its sync with the car so will need resyncing. Worth noting if you have more than 1 key they will need resyncing one after the other so they will both work. It still works for now; I was only wondering what may happen if I left it in a drawer for months or if I didn't use it as a toothbrush.
 
Might be an idea to change the keys over once a month so they both get some regular use and get a charge in the car.
 
Using both keys from time to time sounds like a good plan now most of us aren't using our cars that often. :(
