Key and car memory: what are the best ones to do

I've just got these done:

Key memory:
  • Remote roof up/down
  • Seat memory for each key (wife and me)
  • Windows up when locking
Car memory:
  • Auto-lock (not a fan of this, one for the wife)
  • Beep when locking
  • One-touch up for passenger window
Any others which you guys recommend doing? I don't know the full list and didn't have time to go through them with the guy at the garage (will get one printed from BMW when I get a chance)

Bump and more...

A couple of side effects when getting the above changed.

1. The boot no longer opens from the button on either key
2. I have to click twice to unlock the passenger door when entering the car. First click only unlocks the driver side.

Has anyone else had these?

my boot button still works, Ive had 2. programmed on mine - called 'Selective Central locking' I think

DRL's Day time driving lights. I had mine turned off, that way the lights can be shut off with the car still running ( bad point, if you have lights turned on and walk away from the car your battery may not like it ). Don't ask how I found that out.

Along with seat memory, I believe you also get side mirror positing as well if you have electric mirrors for both you and the wife.

Auto lock causes the double click to unlock passenger side door IIRC. I don't mind that, just takes a little getting used to.

Is there an option to lower the windows from the key without removing the roof-down functionality? Would be easier to get into the car from a tight spot if I didn't have to get around the window.

None that I am aware of. If I was ever in such a tight spot, I'd lower top and windows anyway.

I have that function activated (UK) by unlocking the car then pressing the unlock key again twice, the window rolls down when you open the drivers door and then rolls up when you shut the door.
