That's cool - you can park the yacht in Dover, 1hr up the M20, sorted

one of those things we daren't forget :D

hard to forget mine though - couple of days b4 911 happened :(

We're usually on holiday someplace so I get away with not having to do too much more, but this year I'd best make an effort as we're at home  :P

Brief update.

1. First route on TomTom was about 6 1/2 hours. There's a few revisions & potentially could now be longer, just need to update the route from my old atlas.

2. Have planned around 7 stops for photos, coffee, ice cream, 'comfort breaks', sight seeing, a bit of culture & hanky panky.... so a slightly different format in the mix.

3. Not go a clue what we're doing for lunch, so be prepared to bring a picnic at the last minute, although some of the stops have good food & if there's just a few of us am sure we can just turn up.

4. Meeting point revised to layby opposite Gasoline Alley, since this petrol station is being refurbished.

5. Sunshine not guaranteed, though the company is.

6. Final destination will be here, the Ringlestone in the middle of nowhere, a hidden gem, serving ales, old style wines (eg elderflower etc...) & really worth knowing ... the pictures do not do it justice of its style, gardens & old world interior http://theringlestoneinn.co.uk/

I have two 'itn' TomTom route files, total time 7 hours 32 minutes... whoops:

1. first ending ...route showing the complete Kent tour planned for the day right round to the Ringlestone
2. second ending ...stops showing 6 places where we'll regroup

PM me with your email & I will send them to you,

Happy Days

Just seen this, unfortunately there's no way I'll be getting a pass for this and Brighton Speed Trials on the Saturday. Have fun :driving:

Hey guys and girls, I might well be up for this. Need to double check the calendar aka collect my SWMBO signed agreement slip but this could be quite good to meet some new people. I have attended a few of the Reading meets and know a few of those guys now but spend most of my time in London so this is closer :-)
