Keeping the Z4 Coupe, LOTS of TLC needed (in London)...

Hey Guys
After over 5.5 glorious years with this beauty, I've come pretty close to trading her in for an E92 M3, but quite frankly, I can't do it.
She still runs like a dream and has been fully cared for by BMW dealers, but seeing as I've decided to keep her, I want to spend a bit of money to restore her back to original glory.

Basically, having put on 45k mostly London miles (as well as 28k from the previous owner), she needs a few bits of cosmetic work, including:
- All 4 alloys need refurb
- 4 wheel alignment
- sorting a few light bumper scuffs
- one of the headlamp washer covers has recently popped off, which is pretty annoying
- drivers side armrest needs replacing, as my elbow has broken through the rubber mould
- full leather conditioning and clean (must say, the cream leather seats have done pretty well to maintain their colour though!)
- she's due an oil service too, and contemplating going with a specialist on this. Can't see the point of paying main dealer prices any more.

I'm based in South East London, so ideally looking for recommendations of specialists near-ish for the various bits that need doing.

Thanks!

Nice going fella, bringing your car back to life will, I'm sure, be rewarding, and will be considerably cheaper than trading up to something else.

Hope you enjoy the forum.

DIY an oil service, or bring it to me in West London. There's a coach trimmers over this way who I plan to use for redoing my seat. Not sure if you can get the covers painted but they definitely come primed, so if you're having any paint done have that painted at the same time.

Can't recommend the products from https://www.liquidleather.com enough for leather refurbishment or conditioning/cleaning

I can only help on the headlamp washer cover. Mine too decided to seek a new life away from me and the Zed.

Got the cover from here:

Got the primer, gloss paint and lacquer all in spray cans from Halfords. Finished article:

Believe me, if I can do this, then anyone can!

Good to hear that the Zed is getting some well-deserved TLC. :)

For the seats you can do a full restore yourself using the Lederzentrum products from https://www.colourlock.com/
I've done the seats on 3 BMWs so far. It's very easy to do, and a therapeutic way to spend a quiet day with your car. I've just had a crappy week at work, so if the weather is good will be doing my Z4C seats tomorrow.

I'd be really interested in how you get on. I've got the usual bolster wear on the driver seat and I can't see me arse getting much smaller anytime soon!

I'm very happy with the result, and am also now a bit less stressed :)

Actually they're cheaper at the Bmw dealership. Part no 51117078261

I live in SE London as well and know of D&T Wise as well as BMsport, both in Bexleyheath.
I used BMSport about 7 years ago when briefly owned a Z3M. Wasn't too impressed.
Read loads of good things about ETA Motorsport, so going to drop them a line, as it sounds like they can give the car the necessary TLC.
BMS Surrey sound good too, but a little too far...
