Just been on a 900 mile roadtrip down to the Dorset coast and back. What a great week - so lucky with the weather, not had the roof up once in a whole week!

One thing I discovered on the final leg coming home on Friday - how to stop birds leaving deposits on your nice clean soft top. Simples - just drive slowly in a queue of traffic looking for somewhere to have a cold drink; the important thing is to have the roof down at this time. Oh, and it would be a good idea to have a pack of wet wipes handy, to wipe the mess from your forearm, seat belt, satnav screen, passenger door panel, handbrake lever and polo shirt.

Bleedin seagulls, I'll kill em! :guns:

At least the roof got home nice and clean 8)

I just did a trip to Dorset last week in my new G29.

I was concerned about seagull poop on the soft top as well, luckily I got away with it :)

The wife's daughter's future mother in law (keep up at the back), went to the Norfolk coast a few years back and a seagull shat on her head. Her hubby laughed and told her it was lucky, so she went and bought a lottery ticket.
That Saturday she scooped nearly £6 million!

I now chase seagulls and try to throw myself underneath them !!!
