Karbonius OEM Replica Carbon Airbox and Eventuri Intake

Hi everyone, I have some nice carbon intake upgrades for sale here. The noise this makes is incredible!

Ideally sold together as they do compliment each other nicely but may be willing to split if there's no interest in the combined set.

First, the Karbonius carbon box. This is a new creation from the good people of Karbonius, they now do an OEM equivelent carbon fiber airbox. What this means is you get much of the benefits of the CSL style box but can continue to use the MAF sensor and there's no need for an alpha-n tune. See here:
https://karbonius.net/producto/m3-e46-airbox-oem-style/

Included is a set of Tuner Motorsport silicone throttle body boots and clamps, these are needed as the carbon box has slightly larger holes compared to the OE box, more akin to the CSL box. See here:
https://performancem.co.uk/choose-your-car/bmw/3-series/m3-e46/turner-motorsport-s54-silicone-throttle-body-boot-set-with-clamps/

Also included is the longer CSL breather hose. This is required for this box as the hole opening is further away again as per the CSL box.

One thing to note is there is a small chip on the lacquer on top. The pictures below will detail this.

I paired this box with an Eventuri carbon intake, these are well known on here I'm sure. See here:
https://www.evolveautomotive.com/eventuri-carbon-fibre-intake-system-bmw-z4m/

Within the last 500 miles I replaced the filter with a brand new Eventuri one, so the filter is basically new.

Includes the original airscoop, this was originally red but was painted black. The paint is starting to show signs of aging in a few places but this isn't noticable behind the grill. Would be very easy to give it a few coats of paint to freshen it up.

There is some damage on the MAF tube after a bolt had to be extracted. However, the MAF sensor still attaches fine and both screws still thread in ok and hold it securly in place, it's hidden from view once the MAF is attached anyway. The pictures below will detail this.

All in, this whole setup cost me well over £2k including import fees.

My asking price is £1500 £1400 collected from Oxford for the set.
or
£1000 for the Karbonius box collected
£500 for the Eventuri collected

Collection is very much preffered due to the value here however if the buyer is happy to pay for an insured courier I will post.

Did you install both at the same time? If so, it would be difficult to determine which contributed to the improved sound.

I already have the eventuri, so am considering the airbox just coz it looks awesome. I am located overseas though. Contact me through PM to discuss?

I had the Eventuri installed by itself beforehand. The airbox definitely adds another level of noise :D

I'll give it a bit more time as like I said I would rather these sold together and collected if possible. If there's no interest then I may reach out to yourself and Simon 3.2M to split them and sell seperately

I would be interested in airbox depending on price if you decide to split, would also be able to collect if you are Oxford based :)

My appologies, I hadn't noted that you were overseas. I would rather avoid shipping overseas after previous issues with large high value items, it's a risk I'm not keen to take.

Based on my previous comment of not wanting to ship overseas; this would put you first in line if these do get split, with Simon 3.2M in line for the Eventuri. I'd like to give it day or two to see if there are any takers for the combined set first though. Cheers

Not a problem, fully understand.

Out of interest is there any particular reason why you’ve removed these? How much more audible drama did it add to the Eventuri?

I'm going to be selling my car soon so getting it back to stock.

Definitely more induction noise overall, particularly low down in the RPM range

Ok, not much interest in the combined set by the looks of it. So individually I'd be asking £500 for the eventuri and £1000 for the Karbonius box.

Simon 3.2M and hopz121 PMs coming your way, you guys have first refusal.

Please let me know if the intake system is still available  thanks

Hi mate, yes actually, I've just edited the original post. Both the Eventuri and the Karbonius box are still available. Offering a discount on the combined set so the asking price for the pair now £1400 or seperately £1000 for the Karbonius box and £500 for the Eventuri

Hi

I can send payment for both items now - will work out collection/delivery shortly…

Please confirm we have a deal, as I’ll need to cancel an order I already have with Karbonius sharpish

Cheers
Greg

Just thought, I’m interested in applying both kits to an e46 m3 - guessing I might need some different/extra bits to mount the eventuri..?

Cheers
Greg

I’ve just spoken with Evolve - apparently the z4 version of the eventuri intake can’t really be retrofitted to an e46, so I’m only now interested in the karbonius airbox, sorry for the confusion, thanks

Hi Rodders78 and Rifx, PMs responded to. Apologies for the slow response, I'm currently away in the US.

Rodders78, you have first refusal of the Karbonius box as per PM.
