Whats everyones opinion on these products?? They seem very very high end stuff.

I just watched Jim White applying Kamikaze Zipang Gold Nano Coating to a Bentley Brooklands in his latest VLOG. He must rate it.

I layered Kamikaze 'Myabi' and 'ISM' on my SUV and ISM only on my Z4. Kamikaze claim 2 years durability. The sealants are easy to apply but be prepared to discard a couple of microfibre cloths as the product will cure on them in the form of minuscule pieces of glass. Water beading is fantastic and rain just runs of. I also use their 'Overcoat' every 2 months to maintain durability. I use their 'Intenso' window glass sealant which is better than others I have tried. Their Kabuki Detailing Tape is the best out there. It seals well and pulls of easily. They have great products, but are pricey. See attached video for application. Esoteric do videos for all Kamikaze products.

Did you take the course at Ultimate Finish?
After being "vetted" and a long conversation with UF they called me and asked if id like to become a kamikaze certified detailer, as with all these companies, you need to fit certain criteria to even get the nod... i will completing the course shortly, was so pleased! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D The Zipang / enrei is something i really want to hold stock of in the studio to offer as my elite range of coatings. According to UF i will be the only birmingham based certified dealer at present and each area has a limited number of accepted establishments, i feel pretty proud that UF see me as fitting to become a certified Kamikaze detailer.

I’m very interested in this range of products. If I go full ceramic then I will more than likely use there products. In the mean time I will try there ceramic wax next year.
Please let me know how you get on with the course beedub

I will do, im really looking forward to the training of the products, their are a few products available to the general public that look fantastic. The wax is definitely something i will be stocking , the myobi, zipang and enrei ... The overcoat and clear coat filler look fantastic also! i will be adding the wax to my collection also.

My certification is now complete, im able to access the professional line products as a kamikaze certified detailer..... im writing a blog article on it and will link it in my business thread.

After lots and LOTS of testing... These coatings are amazing.... Miyabi is roughly 8-9h hardness rated.... and honestly you should see this stuff when its dry!! :o :o :o :o :o it literally hardens like glass... ISM Pro is an impressive product, but zipang and enrei are something else, zipang when layered correctly becomes self levelling and healing with heat, and to see this work before my eyes left me speechless, a gloss and richness that needs to be seen to be believed! Enrei is another notch up but wow is that top layer fussy to apply.... i think zipang gold class will be my go to coating, its not cheap tho :tumbleweed:

Lastly the infinity wax..... my god... 53% pure carnauba and 39% ceramic coating with a 1-2 year durability..... is something else, gloss that blew my mind and the application and removal on this product has to be seen to be believed in terms of ease of use.. This stuff is like rocket fuel tho, stinks to high heaven!

UF rate these coatings as the best they have used, they stock , sell and use all of the other ones like gtechniq , car pro, nanotech , the lot. Its been a really full on few days, i cant wait to finish the z4 off with a coat of zipang !!

Has the longevity of this been tested? I really like the idea of this! My only concern is this, no point paying out and then having to re-apply more frequently. If that's the case you might as well spend a bit more and just go Zipang or IMS route. Happy for my Zed be a test dummy

according to UF 12-16 months is a very reasonable to expect from this wax unless you really abuse it.... ive just picked up a few pots for the studio and my god..... its like rocket fuel!! its absolutely wonderful to use however, i will report back on longevity!! It has a specific "cure" time however.

Beedub, did you get any feedback from Ultimate finish (UF) on how long you can keep this wax once it is mixed. I have considered it but wonder if after one coat will it last 2 years in the pot before I use it again! I also sometimes wonder about my own sanity with regard to the coatings I use.
I use Kamikaze products as follows: 'Overcoat' to protect the 'ISM Coat', which protects the 'Myabi Coat', which protects the clear coat which protects the paint, which covers the primer, which protects the metal and plastic. On my other car I also have paint protection film which is protected by 'Overcoat' which is protecting 'ISM Coat'....... I feel that one day my car will no longer fit in the garage. I am though, seriously considering adding 'Infinity Wax' for the glossy wax look on top of my ceramic coatings. I console myself with the fact that I am after a 'look' rather than just protection. If I just wanted to protect the paintwork without considering the 'look', I would cover the car in high melting point grease. There, I have justified all the expense and can sleep easy.

lol love this! Keep an eye on my business updates in the discounts section, im going to start posting abit more feedback on that thread on the products, also a detailed blog article and VLOG is coming soon.

I have spoken to Kai about this as we are now in regular contact for feedback Re the products . UF dont give this a go off period , due to the chemicals used to keep it "good" however... kai said to me, after 8 months you will open the pot and the wax will be at the bottom and the si02 or ceramic part of the mix will rest on top, it will need to be thoroughly mixed again to work correctly with the supplied tool to do so.... Their is no problem with the wax after long periods of rest... After smelling it.... whatever chemical is being used to keep it stable , i cant see it going off any time soon, it stinks to high heaven.

I can see your a Fan of the products, they really are fantastic aren't they? Out of all the stuff ive used so far, i find this stuff the best and easiest to work with on a day to day basis, the only downside is the cost. PM me if i can help with the products any further, you really should come to the studio so we can have a play layering some of these coatings   . You will LOVE Zipang.

Thanks for the feedback beedub. They wax really intrests me as I believe it’s one of about 5 that has the real deal si02 in it. Many products claim to have ceramic in their products and they are not lying but it the type of ceramic used that makes the difference. I am currently using a ceramic wax by Adams polishes with around 32% real ceramic content and the performance is impressive. This will have to go on the Christmas list .

honestly its brilliant!! Ive already gone through one pot at work!   The only bummer is it actually has a cure time.... so when you buy it plan for this during your application. it needs a solid hour. I hear great things about adams Wax's BTW.

Beedub how many applications do yo get out of each pot ? Do you put 2 coats of this on ? I think I’m going to pull the trigger on a pot of this
