33-2372 K&N panel filter to replace the regular filter in all FACELIFT e85/e86 Z4 (even the 2.0 I believe but not Z4M).

This has been on my car for a year (roughly 2,000 miles) and was removed about 6 months ago when I fitted an AFE kit.

Now £20 plus postage if required. Postage will be £2.26.

These are £60 new.

Just out of interest did this make any really difference to the induction noise etc?

K&N vs Paper you get a marginal increase higher in the rev range but nothing to write home about. The airbox design is what kills the majority of noise.

The advantage of the K&N is the lifespan and % increase in flow.
 
Sorry to hi jack the post but you say it also fits the 2.0 ? I’m looking for a pipecross filter but nothing is listed for the 2.0 model only the 2.2 2.5 or 3.0 but if this fits the 2.0 surely the pipecross would also fit?
Anybody ?

Power-wise, again i've no idea.

Noise wise - yes. It's mainly in the higher rev range (3,000 onward) - you start getting more induction noise. With the roof up it's limited, with the roof down it's a little addictive! :evil:
 
Ok, that's a lot of money for some noise though...Have you removed the foam from your BMW noisemaker?
