Just wanted to let the forum know of my recent experience with this great Independent BMW specialist near Windsor.
Needed the Handbrake adjusting after I fitted new Discs and Pads to my Z4 and called to arrange for K&M to do it during my lunch hour as they are only a few miles from where I work in Slough. Quoted me £17 + vat which seemed reasonable and it needed doing as I have the MOT due and the handbrake wasn't holding the car on slopes!
I arrived at the agreed time and 5 minutes later they were back having adjusted the handbrake and told me there was no charge!
This was the 1st time I had been to K&M for work to be done, but I have been to them a couple of times before for a road test and advice on problems on a previous BMW and they have always been very helpful, knowledgeable and have advised me on the best course of action which didn't involve them doing any work on the car.
Although I generally do most of the maintenance on my cars myself, I will have no hesitation using K&M Auto-techniks in the future.
