Hi I'm Richard and am picking my Z4 up on Monday - snow allowing

Its a 28 m sport on a 62 plate with 19 miles on the clock in grey

Im coming from 1 series m sport coupe also in grey which I think is brill but I fancied a

change and with spring just round the corner I thought

why not

Couple of questions does anyone know if my disklok will fit its a small one and does the z4 suffer from the OBC port problem I.e keyless theft

No idea about the disklok
Think your reg Z should come with the update done,check with your local dealer :thumbsup:
 
I was told by bmw customer services any post oct 2011 bmw's are ok re the obd problem

Thanks again for the kind words Chaps. :)

I will try to up some photos next week again dependent of weather as I will want to catch it in its prime
condition,mind you I have had the 1er for nigh on a year and it still looks as good as the day I got her..

Im just itching for Monday but the Met office reports for Derbyshire are not good,its gonna snow all day
on Sunday and I live on a hill/bobsleigh run when it snows,I just dont fancy getting a new car back up it so its going to kill me to leave it till later in the week :(

I have a 28 msport, since last August, just great. Had some great times with it last autumn.

Just looking forward to some good weather to make the most of it again.

Hi, Have you got 19" wheels as I am becoming a little dubious about them as they look a little fragile and all this talk of cracks appearing
 
Yes I have the 19"" wheels, the only way to go with the msport option IMO.

I believe that the cracking problem is only relevant to some 19"" styles, and mine is not one of them I am assured! Some if the other forum members should be able to give some more info on this.

I wouldn't be too concerned as long as you get some reassurance when you pick the car up that you are covered by the warranty (get it in writing if necessary!).
