Awesome news

Out of interest what was the age and spec?

certainly surprised me when they offered 8300 to start with, and managed to settle on 8.5k.

04 plate
3.0
M spec seats
10 speaker sound system
108 alloys
Multi function steering wheel
56k iirc

The underwriter was very reasonable. I stated "I just wanted enough to swap like for like, and I know that's a minimum 8.5k so I'd be silly to accept anything less. Shall we settle on 8.5k and close it off?"

60second conversation and it was done. Insurance is with admiral.

Oh, they also asked me the condition. Poor, average, good or excellent. I said excellent. They also asked where it was purchased from and level of service history. They asked this info when I initially phoned them in the very first instance.

No far from mine

When I recently renewed my insurance the estimated price was a crappy £6.5 - I guess I should have bumped it up, then again I guess the buggers would have up'd the premium!

Get shopping for a new Z?

Keeping my eyes open for a bargain, but may go for an m3 or 330 :D two extra seats and a boot can come in handy.
