Just where do they go?

I was going to a car park the other day and put some 20p pieces on the aluminium near the gear stick on the centre console. However I moved forward down a slope and two slid forward underneath the trim where the aluminium goes under in front of the wireless charging tray. Just where do they go? Despite some 'fishing' with card there doesn't appear to be anything under there......

Start with Launch control to see whether they will be withdrawn by the center console. If not, as Scubaregs said, add £5 to your price when you sell the car to cover the coins themselves plus the fuel you used to diagnose this issue.

While using launch control, play the chorus Where'd You Go by Fort Minor on the stereo to set the mood. It might also be prudent to enlist an assistant to hold a butterfly net or similar behind the gear knob, just in case the coins fly out - you don't want to lose them down the trim at the back instead!

Seriously though, you'll need to remove the trim to get your cash back but I have no idea how easy that is in a G29. At the very least you would need some plastic trim removal tools which will cost more than 40p...

I dropped a micro SD card from the dash cam - Its done a disappearing trick.

I did the same trick in mine. It managed to get into the tiny gap in the carpet where the drivers seat bolted to the floor. Couldn't have done that if I'd tried to. :headbang: I ruined the card holder getting it out with pliers and a carving fork

I reckon that’s where my card has gone but it’s not really worth the special effort to remove a seat.
