hi guys, just been to buy my first roadster....i've bought a black 2009 30i and i'm thrilled to bits.
had a honda typeR which i traded and an RX8 before that......hankered after a z4 since they first came out so i'm pleased to finally get my hands on it...just have to wait 10 days for service and number plate change.
its an incredible car and i cant wait to spin round in it.

i have one question.....the car has not got the idrive sat nav thing but it does have an improvised factory fitted cradle on the dash for a sat nav...i think this is a garmin system that costs about £500 ....thing is i dont know if it has the unit....i forgot to confirm it!!! if it doesnt is there somewhere i can buy the sat nav unit from??? to sit in this cradle??? i saw a thread about this on this forum .

anyway i'll put up some pics once i've got it...any advice greatly appreciated!

It should have it, confirm with the dealer. From memory its just a rebadged garmin, you just need to find out which model which shouldn't be hard.
 
Hi and welcome to the Forum. Some pics of your Zed would be great - before others ask :P
As srhutch says - ask the dealer and yes it is just a rebadged Garmin unit which you may be able to get cheaper from Garmin direct. :thumbsup:
 
Nice choice & welcome to all the Z you can want plus loads of other stuff you might not :)
Hope you like cleaning cars , , , black is great to look at but a pig to keep clean :thumbsup:
