Hope this is ok to post here, and I know its a bit cheeky but....

As some of you may know I am a semi pro photographer...

A friend of mine has opened up a photostudio in Colchester area. in the photography community we do a fair few group shoots, and a particular favourite for spring and summer is 'cars and models'...

I have wanted to see if maybe I could fix up a Z4 themed shoot, Simon, my friend was all over it...
I thought I would pop this up here to see if anyone would be willing to loan their Z and a few hours of their time, in exchange for a really nice set of photos of your car, with or without models, or both... the choice would be yours...

the models are always totally respectful of peoples property, so you need not worry about damage, the models dont mount the bonnets etc... without permission first, also any kit would be kept at a safe distance also...

And.. you get to look at hot semi naked chicks all evening... thats a bonus...

This is the kind of thing we do...

Maybe the testosterone fuelled 20 year olds'll go for it but for those of us that've been around the block a few times it's all getting a bit jaded and corny now.

And the pic with the guns is just plain stooopid these days. :o

But if you've got a market, and can turn a living from it then go for it. (Just no guns, that's all).
 
I'd suggest, also shadowing bob's comment somewhat, that there are a fair few coffin-dodgers on this forum with health issues and dicky tickers! You might just push them over the edge with these sort of shennanigans! :lol:

That first chickypop can climb all over my bonnet anytime and without permission afaic :thumbsup:
 
yeah I agree some of it is cheesy, but really its in the name of fun, and well... us and the models have a good time.

I know its not for everyone, and this isnt the sum of what we do, these shoots tend to be more for kicks than anything serious. Yes the guns thing... I agree, but you're not always in control of what the theme is..., that was shot about 5 years ago, when I was learning. Its not all glamour, sometimes we shoot fashion and other things with the cars as props, it really does depend on the location and the crowd that attend.

anyway the offer is there for anyone interested. Bring a camera along and maybe have a go yourself, if you're that way inclined or want to try something new or different.
 
I wouldn't mind some pro pics of my Zed and with a few models thrown in what's not to like :thumbsup:
 
Jesus Christ... You could offer free money on this forum and someone would moan its not free enough!

If your not interested don't feel compelled to reply!

OP, nice idea and thanks for introducing your idea to the Z4 community - if I was closer I'd be all over it!
 
I dont mind people voicing opinions, I always respect honesty, it was never really going to appeal to all on here.

And shots with no models, that can be organised too. Another friend of mine owns a rig, which can be attached to a car so you can get moving shots as well. but thats more of a job in itself...

HAHA,. its not unknown for some of these ladies to pose butt naked. but I like to keep things tasteful so tend not to shoot at those ones.

As for you going nude? I would love to see the reaction to that lol.
 
well you're still welcome to come and watch, thats never an issue, have a few coffees, admire the chicks and the cars, these are after all social events. there will be plenty of like minded individuals to have a natter with about cars, photography and models, and just general geeking out.

Just thought putting this out there would hopefully inspire some more social activity in the group for those who are interested.

Is this for E89's only as you've put it in the E89 chat? I've got an E86 and would love to get involved!
 
By the way, the last time someone posted a new thread about gauging interest I ended up with a Z4M Roadster :)

You say that like its a blunder... lol, going out and buying a basque and suspenders after a lingerie conversation, 'that' would be a blunder, unless you have access to a suitable rack to display it on
 
If anyone local to Warwickshire is keen to do this, we could drive down to Colchester together for a shoot?

This shoot isnt likely to happen until late spring early summer, so think, May/June.
this was just a feeler to see if anyone would be willing to take part.

Obviously the more cars, the more models, the more photographers, and the bigger the event, a larger event needs more people monitoring whats going on, so no one leaves with a sad face. so we tend to plan these in advance. So its great that I can get an idea of how many people we need to hand certain responsibilities to.

Im actually surprised its received such a warm response. I will have a chat with Simon and see what limitations need to be in place in terms of numbers.

but dont worry, we run these events often, so you wont miss a chance
