Hi Folks,

So on the spur of the moment i decided to trade-in my 35i (and an S2000 i had lying around) for a 35iS. Not had time to take any pics yet. Here's the car i bought:

http://www.southernskymotorcars.co.uk/showroom/bmw-z4-35is-11206

This is the car i should have got in the first place and what was expecting the 2 35i cars i've had before to be. only had a 2 hour drive so far, but the increase in power and torque is noticeable. the chassis is so much better. not sure if it's down to the adaptive suspension or the fact i've gone from 19" to 18" wheels. this car has a few more toys too, e.g. DAB.

So my tough choice tomorrow morning (if it's sunny) is do i take my new Z4 or my new Triumph Daytona out for a spin.

Cheers

Pav

Looks great. Nice choice there. Hard choice for you tomorrow but if the weather turns you always have a roof to add to one  great price for such a low millage example.

And well you know the exhaust note from the 35is is great, the 10bd difference is great.

Very nice. 35is overall a great package.

Take to the zed out in the morning and Daytona in the afternoon :P

Very nice, great colour combo
I'd go out very early on the bike when the roads are quiet and car in the afternoon . Enjoy :driving:

Thanks for all the nice comments. even now the roads are a bit too wet / icy very early (7am) in the morning to take the bike out. especially as i've only had it a couple of weeks.

looks like NW london has got it's 10 mins of sunshine. i'm outta here.

Nice !

I tried the 35i before a 35iS and though people said the only difference you notice would be on a track to me I found the 35iS much more urgent ... and louder

I also found the suspension in 'comfort' more compliant with the option to chose 'sport' there when I want it.

Like the way you casually say you had an S2k lying around . Did yu perhaps just happen to remember it was filed in one of your barns ?

Lovely car.
I think second hand 35is prices will bottom out soon due to it's rarity and performance

Thing is sales of the 35iS have been increasing year on year (possibly/probably due to the discounts on offer), so there's a risk they 'flood' the market in the next couple of years. Although it's difficult to tell what the demand for them will be.

Very well specced. I haven't seen those wheels before. Think they suit it well. Not a huge fan of the colour combo - very busy but as long as you like it then that's all that matters.

Congrats on your purchase!
