Took the z for a 2 hour run from Peterborough to Papworth tonight with the top down and a "Pearl jam" playlist roaring through the speakers. I feel ALIVE!

I'm surprised how good that made me feel. Well worth the tenner in fuel.

I highly recommend this for any one feeling a bit low, just drop the roof and hit play. :driving:

Believe me it works just as well in a coupe. Amazing band. Only problem with seeing them live is the ever changing set list which can be great - but last time we saw them wasn't so good. Fab to drive to though. And one for my bucket list would be to see Eddie and Chris Cornell singing Hunger Strike live.

Not heard "Hunger strike" - just Googled it. I saw them this year in Milton Keyens and was impressed. For me i would love to hear Eddie sing "reign-o-et-me". I was lucky to hear them play "Jeremy"

I know exactly what you mean - therapy for the soul :driving: 8)

Must've used more than a tenner though - damn sure I would on a 2 hour run

Yep, that's why we do it - brilliant return on your effort!

At least double that cost for a two hour run for me though

:driving:

I'm due one of these blasts shortly.

Haven't had the roof down for over 2 weeks now and only driven the car to and from work.

Will ensure that I head out over the weekend (when it isn't raining) and have a blast with some tunes on!

On the 1198? I take that road every day to work and back. Great when there's no traffic! Peterborough to Papworth takes me around 35 mins though..!

Bit wacky if you aren't in the mood but my fav Eddie Vedder track is The Long Road https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-b33vOZKcS0

followed by "Black" , otherwise not a massive fan :o sorry

Glad you enjoyed your drive out mr M
