Just Swapped the runflats!

Been contemplating this for a while and having checked the tyres for wear all around, found that 3 needed replacement sharpish.

So, dilemma. Keep to the BMW OEM and replace the runflats with runflats (why go against BMW's wisdom?), or change to standard tyres.

Black Circles visit convinced me. £900-ish to buy 4 runflats, or £580 for 4 standards = decision made!

What a difference - much less rigid ride (back to normal car standards) but maybe slightly noisier, but actually I like the sound!

Taking advice from this forum, I went for Vreds, however after ordering, Black Circles called to say they had no stock, and suggested Hankook as a replacement.

Now, i am a bit of a brand snob (and like to take advice from Forum's such as this), so wasn't particularly impressed with this and aimed at a Goodyear / Conti replacement at the same price as the Vreds, but Black Circles wouldn't play ball, so Hankook it is...

..can't say I'm disappointed either.

Anyone else got Hankook and have an opinion.

btw..now have 1 runflat 225 R18 40 for sale if anyone interested? 4mm tread left, no puncture repairs.

I have hankooks v12 evos,had them about 2 weeks, brilliant grip. So much better, the sidewalls seems very soft, you can feel it round bends if pushing, just feels a bit weird... But this could be due to being used to runflats, it could even just be I haven't checked my tyre pressures.

On the whole, the ride comfort and grip are much improved though
