The top executive at Saudi Arabia's state-oil giant, however, said Tuesday he expects oil prices to pick up by the end of this year, as high-cost production exits the market amid today's low prices.

Just reading here that Russia has agreed to a meeting with OPEC to control production .......
Russian open tap policy and fracking are the reasons behind the current price slump .......
Fracking is already dead in the water - if Russia makes an agreement with OPEC ...........................

Fracking may sleep for a time, but as long as there are Hydrocarbons down there, people are going to dig them up, just a matter of cost vs price.

Best thing we could do is plant a whole lot more trees. if only us pesky humans didn't take up so much space. :?
 
Fracking ........ hmmmmmmmm
the real deal is that most of the fracking companies are operating on borrowed money from the banks ........
going belly up hurts the banks a lot .....
same happened in 1986, took nearly 20 years before banks started loaning money to small drilling concerns .......
will be a few more years before they start doing it again ........
