Just saying hello, from newbie

Erm, G29, cough.

If you are considering a G29, ask yourself if you will need/use the extra power. I came from a 718 Boxster to a 30i, I simply didn't need any more power and therefore didnโ€™t want the extra insurance/petrol/servicing costs.

Of course, I have the bike for fun and a very nervous fiancรฉe as a car passenger.

Insurance at my age is pretty negligible. Maybe 10 a month extra.

Coincidentally, one of my mates is trying to push me towards a 718 - only because he owns Ninemeister Porsche. He's also one of my neighbours, so I guess I'll have a handy pick up and drop off service, since I'd be paying him to look after it  That said, I'm a hard and fast BM guy though ๐Ÿ˜‰ Always have been.

.........Always need more power !!   Having said that, the G29 30i is more than ample power - agreed ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

I'll be flying up to Scotland, next week, to pick an M40i up
I'm going to spend a couple of days driving her down, and enjoying the hills ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ

I'm absolutely buzzing

No worries.......John Clark. Aberdeen. Scotland
Hence I will be flying up, and getting into a hotel for the night. BMW are picking me up from the hotel in the morning, and taking me to the dealership for the hand over. After that, I'm off into the Scottish Hills, before eventually travelling through Edinburgh, and down toward the Northumberland National Park area. I'm staying over in that area for the night (after an afternoon playing), and heading down toward home the next day, after playing in the lakes for a bit :D

Can't wait. 2 days of playing, after flying up to get it.
Wife's happy because I'm buggering off for a few days

Once you are North of the border it makes sense to take in some scenery rather than driving straight home.

Have a great trip. :driving:
