Just renewed BMW Insured Warranty ...

If your cars under 10 yrs old Warranty Direct are a far better deal. I got full comprehensive cover on my 35i at 3 years for £1100 with no excess at all! It covers absolutely everything apart from tyres/pads and parts designed as sacrificial. Even MOT fail items.
Had about £2.5k out of it so far with a year to run... no arguments from them at all..

My 35is had to have £1200 of work done last week, covered by BMW insured warranty with £100 excess.

That is odd, mind you mine only had a sniff over 20k miles, did you choose main stealer labour rate?
Might also be something with the recent massive increases in spare parts prices and availability.
A friend of mine owns a garage, he has a renault there 4 years old that needs a PS pump - none available for nearly 6 months now!!!!!!!

It didn't give me any options, I think it included AA breakdown etc nothing about labour rates. They must be quite pessimistic about the reliability of my car!
