Just put down a holding deposit on Z4MR

Wouldnt it have made sense to have done that while it was standing at the dealers? not once someone is interested in it? dont get me wrong I hope everything goes well for you cos thats quite a stack of paper to be parting with.

Depends if the car has just come in as with mine i agreed a price over the phone with Park Lane subject to inspection a week later as the car had only just been part exchanged.

My mate is a tech for Stephen James not at Sidcup though all the best for next week its gonna be a long one waiting to go see the car
 
I did the same also as the car was over 100 miles away would have been a wasted journey it had already gone.

Dealer didnt even take the £500 deposit anyway. The dealer also agreed a price on my old car over the phone subject to any problems. I knew what it was worth from two other BMW dealers so knew I wasnt being robbed.
 
They only received the car on Thursday... not surprsing that they havent had a chance to get it through the approval process yet.
Hopefully the week will fly by, i've been waiting since september for one that ticks all the boxes in Black Sapphire.
 
I'll be paying cash... not sure how much of a discount I can expect. The salesman has already been harping on about how it is the cheapest in the UK (BMW dealerships at least). I'm prepared to pay what they are asking given the spec I'd be happy but any money off is obviously a bonus!
