Just a quick hello from a very excited soon to be Z4 owner :D

Deposit down last night and pick it up next week cant wait!!! :)

Please tell us you have done all the usual checks re condition and provenance? :thumbsup:

Some sad tales on here of those that didn't and have been caught out :( .

I pick it up tonight :)

Well I HPI'd it and checked all the mileage tallied up with MOT's and service and it seemed to all be fine and the hood worked perfectly so not sure what else needed to look for? Engine sounded great gave it a good rev to check no problems and drove it to check was all ok, oil was clean and all electrics and lights worked what else should I have looked for?

Before you drive it off get them to check the springs are all ok... broken springs (usually rear) are very common on the Zed.

I checked that when I went down and also asked to take it over some speed bumps and drive at speed on the dual carriage way just to check the suspension was solid and physically checked the springs they looked in good condition.

Anything else to check?

I went for the 2.2 engine first gear didnt seem to good but once got into second and third it really pulled nicely was impressed and I wasnt expecting the exhaust to sound quite so nice the straight 6 gives a great note :)

I took my dad with me who is very wary of things like in your signature and together I think we went through most things we were there for a good hour and a half checking everything, it certainly seems nice but for peace of mind I think a warranty will be a good idea :)

Really seems like a great example I am driving it home tonight which is a good hour so if anyhting is wrong I am sure that will be the telling time.

I think I got a good one but it has a bluetooth phone or something that the previous owner has never used? are they easy to work?
