U get more out.
It's easier than jacking up and faffing about underneath at the sump.
It's safer. No risk of warm oil going up ur sleeve, in ur eye, on the floor
I could go on... 8)

You can’t get more out through sucking.

You clearly haven’t had someone service you properly, if you catch my drift

Well, after a 6.5l refill and a short run I've ended up putting almost 7.5l back in.
Why not just spec 7.5l instead of 6.5l?
This is what I have left of 10l.

I bought a Zed off a guy who said it drank a bit of oil, so I thought I'd change it fairly quick and see what was happening. I sucked out 12.5L. When I rang him to discuss he said he topped it up when ever the yellow light oil came on. When talking further I discovered he was mistaking the EML light for the Oil light. :o (The EML code was due to a split air hose).

Once sorted the car ran fine for months before I sold it. (Not to anyone on here I may add)
12.5l?? Thats def overfilled! And potentially very damaging to seals etc due to increased internal engine pressure.
Surprised it ran ok.

Me, and yes always checked the level. Either halfway up dipstick marker or at highest point.

Have you got one of those 'dip stick things' that means you have a hole to get a pipe down or am I missing a trick on engines with the electronic sensor?
