Hi guys! New to the forum and new to BMW! My family and I just went to pick up my E89 Z4 Sdrive30i! It's black on black and is really amazing! It was an early graduation gift and now i'm in the market for some black rims. Do you guys know of any reputable sellers or rims that look great with a black E89? I was also looking at smoking the orange lights on the front and replacing the front grilles, the chrome really doesn't appeal to me much. I was thinking about changing the BMW emblems to black and white, but that's apparently a taboo modification, so I think i'll just stay away!

Who's taboo is it? Many, including myself, have changed badges for black & white plain or carbon. It's your car go for it! :thumbsup:
 
Blimey, black on black, black wheels, blacked out chrome and lights(windows too?) . you going for the stealth look?
Personally, although i like black wheels(especially with a silver rim like Porsche ones) i am not too keen on black cars where i prefer to see them 'stand out'.
 
Pics will be coming soon! Sadly I live in Arizona and even with it being garaged all the time, it gets dusty very quick when in the parking lot while i'm at school. I need to get it cleaned and detailed before I start a photoshoot! Thanks for the kind words! And in response to Pacemaker1000, I've always loved the stealth look, we have a few Aston Martins roaming the streets that are utilizing that look, and they're gorgeous!
 
It's taken me 25 years of work to get the funds for sport car. My first car was a hand me down, Vauxhall chevette estate, built when I was four!
 
Bad time to mention i'm still actually in high school? LOL. Hey, if you have the means, why not, right? My parents will be paying nothing for college because of my scholarships anyway! In fact, I saved them money! haha but back to the car, hopefully I'll get it detailed on Sunday and then get pictures up by Monday!
