Another few days into E89 ownership.

I notice today that if you set the Nav scale at 10 miles it obviously syncs up with the online connection - showing an overlay of the weather symbols onto the map (just like the weather on TV). :roll:

- I know it's daft, but a stream of 'nice little touches' are just making the experience better and better.

- alos had the roof down for the first time today. My last Roadster was 3 years ago, - i'd forgotten the pleasure! 8)

Nice one, I'll have to give that a go :thumbsup: I must admit I haven't looked to much at the on-line stuff only used the function to download a route to the Nav but it looks like thats not working anymore, you have to use the USB port instead, hopefully it will be back on line soon.

It comes with a free period of connectivity and then you have to pay for it. I think over £100 a year......

Hi Nickm,

Wasn't sure if this was the case. My car was registered Jan 2010 and I purchased it in June this year. Over the last few weeks I couldn't download to my car anymore as I kept getting a message on the Connectdrive site saying I was unable to use the remote download function and they hope to be able to offer me this function again in the future and instead I should use the USB. The message didn't really tell me a whether it was my fault or the service was down. I've just tried it again, five minutes ago, and it appears to be up and running again now :D
