Hi everyone, Names Dave and I am the proud new owner of a 2003 3.0i z4 roadster :) The car is awesome. Ive owned a toyota celica gts 7th gen, a honda s2000, and a jaguar stype 4.0 and to be honest this is by far my favorite of them all :) Im working on adding an intravee for my ipod but im stuck on the removal of my current cd changer and im also looking for the best bluetooth option for my year/model zed so any links for these two installs would be greatly appreciated. Im very happy to join the family.

Hi and welcome, CD changer removal is not a fun job, best leave it where it is and just install the intravee, PVR and Andy have installed them so can offer help. Removing the cd changer involves removing the centre storage panel from the interior, just not worth it IMO
 
fair enough, so would i be able to run the intravee from the trunk? Im trying to find a list of items with part numbers that i need for the install but im totally noobing it :headbang: Ebay doesnt have many options, whats the price range im looking to spend for this? Thanks again guys.

You can install the Intravee in the centre console, I believe most drill a small hole throught the back of one of the plastic cubby holes and feed the cables through the bulkhead.

You also need a Alpine KCA-420i which can be located next to the subwoofer or behind one of the cubby holes behind the passnager or driver seat.

PVR is the resident expert :thumbsup:

I purchased the car with 49k miles on it :) She drives like a dream. Gonna do my first oil service tomorrow. Im using castrol syntec and a k&n oil filter.... Im still reading on doing the trans fluid change... i keep reading on the mt2...is there anything else you guys use? And dont worry im still going to use the search option as well ;) Thanks again guys.
