Hi all, Have a Z3 and am just starting a look out for a E89 2.5/3.0. So thought this would be another good place to start the process as well as if hopefully successful in my searching, contribute.

Whether 6 cylinder n/a or 4 pot 2 litre turbo, they are all a massive step up from a Z3 in terms of refinement. The M-sport versions look nicer but have very hard suspension. The SE spec are generally cheaper but have much 'better' suspension.

Good luck with your search. Best time to buy a convertible IMO.

Welcome to the forum, and good luck finding your Z4.

If you want a straight 6 you'll probably find plenty of 23i models, 30i ones seem quite thin on the ground.

Thanks, thats what Im noticing and the 30i's have high mileage (not a deal breaker) on my budget
