Hi everyone,
Have just joined this forum of Z4 owners,enthusiasts,etc with the hope that someone can help me...my Z4 e85 2006 2.5si fuel pump has failed/failing...i have had to replace the fuel pump module as it burnt out and get an auto electrician to install and reset everything so that is all good now...however I need a new fuel pump. I have been to my local BMW and they are now telling me that the fuel pump is no longer available only the filter part which i do want to replace as well but the pump is what I really need! For both parts it was going to be about £800 but I don't care i just want it sorted as the car hasn't been driven since before Christmas! My question to you all is..is there anywhere else I can get a New oem pump from or an aftermarket upgrade?? I have seen some second hand ones on ebay but not keen on taking the risk with them....
