IMG_20210220_130558~2.jpgApologies if I've not posted in the correct place - Just joined.

Here is my 2006 Z4M Coupe - After a small accident, I took the plunge and got an expert to repaint the car in the factory colour, replace window rubbers, replace door glass, renovate and lacquer headlights, etc.... then CSL 19" wheels (I kept the originals) and the whole thing ceramic coated.

Thoughts on me not putting the 'm' badges on after the paint job?
I figured if you know cars, you don't need a badge to tell you what it is? - thoughts?

Hi and welcome to the forum with your stunning MC.

As for debadging, why not? As you say those that know just know. And with BMW sticking M badges all over some pretty mediocre models these days they aren't that exclusive any more.

[ref]guldfisk_UK[/ref], welcome to the family! 🤗
She is stunning, wow!
Awesome! 💖👍
I look forward to seeing more photos of her!
It is great to see people take good care of their cars.
I also love those callipers!😍
Wishing you, and everyone here on the forum, a fantastic week ahead!
😊

The calipers I have to put down to the best paintshop I have ever found.

After much research, everybody pointed me at Chris - CPS Bodyshop.

These guys are ex BMW, but the dedication and passion they put into my car was as if it was there own. My close friend (ex UK Bike chamption) restores vintage bikes and he had his magnifying glass out to inspect the flek in the paint and he declared it the best paint job he'd ever seen. I cannot recommend Chris and co highly enough.

Re Calipers - as you probably know they were basic metal, not painted. I had them blasted and powder coated, and then Chris matched the paint colour to the latest M blue. after much painting and lacquering, Chris decided he couldn't get the finish of the M logo and stripes how he wanted it, and so asked a vinyl specialist to provide vinyl in the exact colours, and then lacquered over them.

I then rebuilt with new seals, pistons, etc.

I cannot recommend highly enough these guys.

Great, that’s all we need, another stunning coupe to dominate the monthly photo competition !

Welcome, she’s a beaut

Just to add to the plaudits, I think she looks stunning!
Althoughy I've never given much thought to de-badging my steed it certainly adds to a much cleaner look.

Keep the updates coming and those calipers look awesome
