Welcome to the forum, you have 17" wheels, they 103 or daisy's. If they have run flats, you need to bin them and go for non run flat tyres. This will improve handling. Most go for 18" or 19" with non run flats, again it make a big difference to handling. Oh, keep the whippy, you don't want a boring stubby

Hey, car had 4 runflats of differing age before I bought it. I persuaded the guy for 4 new tyres and specifically asked for non-run flats based on what I'd read. Should be all good!

Until today I had no idea that whippy/stubby was such a big deal.

Marmite it seems!

Yeah, it gets in your head eventually - I'm a stubby convert now, I even posted before and after pics when I made the jump

Welcome to the forum, mod wise we could be here all day with things from stubby aerials, ZHP gear knobs, M Sport Seats, clutch delay valve, cupholders, to clear headlights, indicators, rear brake light and white spot rear clusters to name but a few. The list of mods out there for E85's seems endless!

Welcome, I sold my Cerbera to come back to BMW's what did you have?

Hey, I had a Chimaera 500 but had to sell it for the X1 family-mobile.

The z4 was delivered this morning at 7:30 so took it for a spin into work. So far so good, although it seems to rev high very quickly in first, but in second it's got a lot more to give. Is this common?

Other that than I could only pop the bonnet when the engine was running (or maybe the key needs to be turned somewhat?). Another quirk?

I love the smell of a 6 cylinder engine. Reminds me of the v8 I had previously. Temp gauge sat bang in the middle for the whole journey, which was a mix of motorway and slow traffic. I guess it's common for that engine to get quite hot and scented in comparison to a 4pot?

So far I'm a very happy chappy!

Glad you like it, the bonnet shut release when you pull the lever any time, its a cable operated release :)
