Yeah, it's not too bad once you've tried it a couple of times. I wrapped a few wee bits in my last car.

Once the dash trim was off it probably took about an hour to do it. There's some fiddly bits that go behind the steering wheel but as long as you heat it well with a hairdryer it stretches over pretty nicely.

I've got a long way to go to cover all that aluminium but it's a start!

I need a new gear knob. Any suggestions?

Cheers!

That's the problem with this forum..it gives you to many ideas/choices about playing with these cars. Wait till you've been on a meet or two, then you see things on other cars which really gets you spending

I've corrected your post Fred, no need to thank me

Is it not bad form to buy an "M" branded product when I don't think my car is M-sport in any way?

No - you get a pass on a ZHP knob for some reason.

Maybe because some Z4's (like the Si's) come with so many 'M' branded bits from the factory (wheels, steering wheel... anything else?) that it's already a lost cause

I've been picking off some low-lying fruit. Wrapped some more of the trim and plasti-dipped the kidneys. Beginning to look a little fresher!
