Just joined - new owner of a Z4 Coupe

Hi everyone,

Just joined the forum, having found lots of helpful advice on here whilst looking for the perfect Z4 Coupe.

I just bought it at the weekend, and collected it on my birthday, which was a great start to the day. Was looking for the right spec for a while, and finally found one in Ruby Black Metallic which looks amazing in the sunshine we're having at the moment, and goes really nicely with the two-tone silverstone/new England interior.

So far I've only had the chance to scratch the surface, but immediately impressed. I've also got an E39 530, and although very different in character, there's definitely a BMW-ness that runs through both and feels familiar.

First thing I want to do is sort out some bluetooth - I was having a look at some of the Bluemusic dongles - how does everyone feel about those? I've got the upgraded hi-fi with DSP, any thoughts on this would be very welcome.

Looking forward to driving it more and getting more acquainted with the community.

Now Bluetooth on your updated system will require a different type of adapter- be sure to google and search for that accordingly

Thank you, I'm so pleased with it, can't believe it when I look out the window.

Ok that's good to know, I'll see what I can find - I was hoping it could be done with one of the dongle things that connect behind the head unit, but I want to make sure I get the right solution, so will keep searching.

Yeah the sun really makes a difference - so many colour changes depending on the light, it's such a great colour.

Thank you, I'm really pleased with it, took it for a proper drive last night for a couple of hours and love it even more now.

Want to change the gear knob and get some bluetooth sorted next, but otherwise wouldn't change anything.
