Just Introducing Myself

Hi everyone, Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself.

Put the deposit down on a silver 2006 3.0si sport yesterday. Really excited and looking forward to the ownership experience. Hopefully pick it up Friday this week.

I sold my VX220 turbo in the summer as i wanted something more practical but just as fun, I am sure the Z4 will deliver that. It certainly sounded the business on the test drive. I found the VX220 website really useful during my period of ownership, so have signed up here to pick up all the hints and tips.

Hope to chuck a photo up of my car soon, although it looks exactly the same as all the others! :oops:

Can't wait to get :driving:

Welcome to the group. You won't be alone as there are several ex VX220 owners on the site. In fact I've probably met you if you ever go the the Midlands Breakfast Club where there's usually a lot of VX220 owners around. Formerly simon now Porsche, Nats and several more I can't recall.

Anyway - the long wait now

i went for the Roadster as i am addicted to the topless experience 8) .

Glad to hear i am not the only one who has moved over from a VX. I have gone to the midlands meet twice, so may well have done - do you guys do Z4 meets? would be good to get some of the low down on the car from people who know.

Ah yes the long wait - could hardly sleep last night, comon Friday!

Meets are great, may have to wait until next year now though?? have a look on the meets forum board at Board index ‹ General ‹ Meets/Events :D
