Just how much stuff can you squeeze in a Z4 boot ?

Few weeks ago I filled mine up with a Canon XF305, Sony Z7, Canon 5D MkII (with 5 lenses), Miller tripod, flexifill and some car cleaning gear.

It definitely wouldn't have fitted in an E89...
 
How about this... 2x 100L compost bags + various other gardening things (and biscuits) and the roof still goes down.

Can fit 4x100L compost bags, but means the roof cant go down - so its worth 2 trips :D

Not the Z but more my idea of a good weekend in my old E46:

A trip to Spa F1 with 3 of my mates after our bags were removed! Took me an hour packing all them cans into a full boot, they all just collapsed when we took our bags out!

a couple of ideas we had on a two week trip to france was. ..
dont. take cases use the boot as a case......
sleeping bags and pillows squash behind seats..

oh and take a photo about the 4th time you repack it....

thats usually the best ha ha
